Tyler Perry Movie to be filmed in Las Cruces

Tyler Perry's upcoming feature film "Tyler Perry's Joe's College Road Trip" is set to be filmed in Las Cruces employing local crew according to KFOX TV. It’s a coming-of-age comedy that follows a college student named Joe on a cross-country road trip. The production is expected to provide economic benefits to the Las Cruces community through job creation and increased tourism.

An 8,200-Year-Old Prehistoric Campsite Discovered at White Sands

The ancient campsite, found on the Holloman Air Force Base, provides valuable insights into the lives of the Paleo-Archaic peoples who once inhabited the region.

This remarkable discovery underscores the importance of preserving and studying such archaeological sites, even on active military installations.
