Crafting Shade and Memories in Las Cruces

Our Story

Upon returning to Las Cruces after a stint in Nashville, Guy Nix found his calling in a unique niche: creating designs that not only provide shade in the sun-drenched locales of New Mexico but also stand as functional art pieces set to last generations. The inspiration? A simple pergola project that bloomed into a thriving business, symbolized by a name with a twist and roots in a songwriting past.

Outdoor Living Spaces

Our Passion

At Wood You Too LLC, our mission goes beyond business. It's about crafting structures that enhance lifestyles while catering to our need for work-life balance, ensuring there's enough time left for passions like fly fishing. Challenges like finding reliable help without compromising our commitment to living standards do not detract from our goals but inspire a deeper dedication to quality and innovation.

Guy Nix - Owner

Our Difference

What sets us apart is not just our commitment to using the highest quality materials; it's also our selective and customer-focused approach. We embrace that not everyone will be our customer, focusing instead on providing unparalleled value to those who choose us.

Innovation and Sustainability

We’re proud to introduce a groundbreaking shift towards using reclaimed timber, which allows for pre-staining pergolas at a fraction of the cost. This move not only reduces expenses but also supports environmental sustainability by lessening the demand for new timber.

Local Roots and Growth

Born and raised in Las Cruces, Guy has ventured far and wide but always finds his way back, drawn by the mountains and community he loves. Today, Wood You Too LLC structures are local landmarks, from neighborhood gardens to significant architectural projects like the patio cover of Hotel Victorio.

Future Vision

Looking ahead, we’re excited about expanding our offerings to include planters, benches, swings, and more, all embodying our ethos of durability and design.

Our Philosophy

Our motto, "Buy once and have something that’ll last for generations," reflects our commitment to quality and longevity. Supporting the local community quietly but effectively, we focus on the joy and satisfaction our work brings to our clients.

Cultivating Team Spirit

Motivating our team involves more than just ensuring they’re well-fed; it’s about creating a sense of belonging and shared purpose. We’re not just building structures; we’re shaping environments and experiences.

Invitation to Connect

We invite everyone interested in enhancing their outdoor spaces to explore our work and reach out. Whether it's for shade, decking, or fencing, we’re here to answer your questions and, hopefully, embark on a project that exceeds your expectations.

Closing Thoughts

In a world that’s constantly changing, we anchor ourselves in the values of quality, sustainability, and community commitment. Join us on this journey of creativity and craftsmanship, where every project is a step towards a more beautiful, functional, and shaded tomorrow.
