  • Los Manteles De Mi Abuela | Branigan Cultural Center | through June 22th | By presenting sahumadores on contemporary oilcloth tablecloths, Robert Salas mixes the historic and contemporary aspects of his Hispanic and Indigenous Mexican heritage.

  • Tlazoh Amozochitl | Branigan Cultural Center | through June 22th | Examining pre-contact Mesoamerican culture while recognizing the influences of Spanish and American cultures upon them. Kindergarten through 5th grade students at Raices del Saber Xinachtli Community School learned about the history of corn, chocolate, and butterflies through traditional Mesoamerican stories. They then created artwork that reflected those stories. Come see over 40 pieces of artwork created by these multicultural students!

  • Mata Ortiz: Highlights from The Lysbeth Warren Anderson Collection | New Mexico State University Art Gallery | Through July 20, 2024 | Free |   Witness the evolution of Mata Ortiz pottery!   • A Walk in the Woods | No Strings Theatre Company | Various dates & Times June 14th - June 30th | "A Walk in the Woods" depicts the evolving bond between Russian and American arms negotiators, Andrey Botvinnik and Joan Honeyman, over a year of talks. Despite contrasting personalities, they forge a connection. Inspired by real 1982 events where two diplomats achieved a short-lived breakthrough during an unofficial "walk in the woods."
