Nate Champion and the Johnson County War image

Old West History Buffs Will Love This!

A story that has a hero and a villain. Nate Champion, a small rancher, was falsely accused of rustling by the Wyoming Stock Growers Association.

On April 9, 1892, he was besieged at the KC Ranch by armed men hired by cattle barons. Despite being outnumbered, Champion bravely held them off for a day, documenting the events in his diary.

His courage and tragic death symbolize the struggle between small ranchers and powerful cattle barons in the American West.

Author Mark Warren will present a lecture and slide presentation Thursday Oct 24 at 7-9 pm at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Museum.

This event is free in the Museum Auditorium. More Info

Transform Your Body and Mind with Mary Jane's Pilates Studio!

Mary Jane with Pilates Studio working with a student

I am very dedicated to the Classical Method of Pilates, where I follow the original method taught by Joseph Pilates on the reformer, tower or mat.

I am very tuned into the clients as they go through their movement and make small encouraging corrections.

No goofing off or small talk as it takes a lot of concentration and focus to engage what needs to be engaged and what body part is or should be moving 🙂

I love the end of class when everyone is feeling stronger and energized.
