I made a huge mistake on the date for the Tamale Festival. Thanks to Kathryn for catching that and letting me know. 😊 I had the Tamale Festival listed on Saturday and Sunday and it should be on Sunday May 5th. I have corrected it.

I didn’t want to let this go because of this big event so I published this correction. Sorry for the mistake. My Apologies!!!

Weekend Overview

There are two main Cinco de Mayo festival activities in town this weekend but plenty of other events are happening.

  1. 🫔 We have the 2024 Tamale Fest/Cinco de Mayo at Plaza de Las Cruces on Sunday May 5th. Tickets $18 & up.

  2.  🇲🇽 And there is Cinco de Mayo in Mesilla on both Saturday and Sunday at the Mesilla Plaza. This is a Free Event

  3. 🐎 Amador Dayz at Amado Live will be having Music, Car Show and a viewing of the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday May 4th. Details below in Events

  4. 🏠️ Showcase of Homes - Continues this week through May 05th, on select days and times as noted below. Get their Digital Booklet here 

  5. 👨‍🎨 First Friday Fine Art Flea Market downtown Las Cruces. Has artists, vendors and food trucks.
