The Beatles at NMSU….

Well.. at least it’s a Beatles Tribute to 1964. But you might think it was actually the Beatles according to Alistair Taylor Former President of Apple Records who said:

"The Resemblance was uncanny, it sent shivers down my spine. It was just like the boys. Never have I seen another group go to such detail"

Re-live the sixties and those wonderful memories associated with the music of the Beatles. Tickets and Info

Your Pets and July the 4th…

Get your pets microchip checked to make sure your contact information is up to date. Get a new dog tag with your contact info and the dogs name. Keep your pets inside so they won’t get loose and run away. Happy 4th of July. Enjoy!

A Quest to find the best Birria Tacos in Las Cruces…

Well heck Cowboys and Cowgirls 🤠 guess we have some work to do here. Seems that most of you are as clueless about Birria tacos as I was. That’s okay because I am going to help you. Here are the results from the last issue poll.

Check out this video by Pati Jinich: How to make Birria and Quesa Birria Tacos. And here is one by one of my favorite cooks Rick Bayless: Birria Tacos. These will help you understand just what a Birria Taco is.

And check out our recent post about El Vagon Tacos here on our Las Cruces Directory. We are still making… I mean eating our way through the list above.

Pati Jinich mentioned that Birria tacos are being very popular all of a sudden. Listen here is the deal. Not all local Mexican and New Mexican restaurants serve Birria Tacos

Just look at the local restaurants that I mentioned above in the poll results and just go and try a Birria or Quesa Birria taco for yourself. They are usually served with consume, the juice that the meat was cooked in. Yumm.

You will be glad you did! 🙂 Let us know how you liked them!

Burlington Coat Factory Opens in El Paso….

This next Friday June 28th Burlington Coat Factory opens a New Store in West El Paso. I know you need to go shopping so it’s approved you can go to the new opening. 🙂 More Info
