With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday check out the concert downtown on the Plaza. I did notice that DH Lescombes Winery is having a Mothers Day Special
Bird lovers and watchers will love the events this month in the outdoors section.
I noticed this and wanted to share…. “In honor of Organ Mountain-Desert Peaks National Monument's 10th anniversary, there is no day-use fee for the month of May.”
The New Mexico Wine Festival is coming up for Memorial Day weekend at the end of the month so plan ahead and get your tickets.

World Migratory Bird Day | Dripping Springs Natural Area | Saturday May 11 | 7 am - 9:30 am | From 7 to 9:30 a.m., bird banding will take place in the restricted-access Ice Canyon area behind the visitor center. That's an opportunity to see birds up close and ask questions of a licensed bird bander.
Then at 8:30, MVAS will lead a birding hike along the trails. Loaner binoculars will be available for beginning birders. Bring water, wear a hat, and apply sunscreen.
