✅ Las Cruces now has a Shopping Cart Ordinance….

The Las Cruces City Council passed two significant ordinances aimed at reducing crime and improving community safety.

One ordinance targets the issue of stolen shopping carts, holding businesses accountable and offering community service or treatment to offenders.

The second ordinance addresses aggressive solicitation, specifically prohibiting aggressive asking for money on private property. Both measures passed with a narrow 4-3 vote. Read More
